    AIVEL, AI Travel Budget Planner

A course concept for planning and reviewing travel spending

Travelers often set one total budget before a trip and discover category problems after they have spent the money. AIVEL explored a planning flow that divides the budget, responds to changes, and closes the trip with a spending report.

    Problem

A total budget gives a limit but little guidance on transport, lodging, food, or activities. A change in one category can affect the rest of the plan. Users need a visible allocation and a way to review the final difference.

    Role and scope

I worked on the product concept and presentation with Figma, Canva, and ChatGPT. The case covers product logic and interface direction. It does not represent a regulated financial service.

    Process and decisions

The concept starts with destination, trip duration, and available funds. It allocates money into category pockets, proposes adjustments after a change, and prepares a post-trip report.

The AI concept supplied adjustment suggestions inside this structure. We did not define a model, prompt controls, or an evaluation plan.

    Course output

The team finished the product presentation and interface concept. We defined the allocation flow, adjustment logic, and post-trip report, then presented the work as the final course deliverable.

The course ended before interviews, usability tests, bank integration, or trip-level measurement.

    Limits

The concept needs user research, calculation tests, currency handling, privacy controls, and financial-service review. It should remain a course case until a working prototype and user evidence exist.
